Job Scope

The Product Manager Intestinal Health will work in an international environment and will be responsible for Kemin's intestinal health portfolio, comprising of probiotics, acidifiers, butyrates, mycotoxin binders and essential oils for EMENA region (Europe, Middle East, and North Africa).

Mission of the team

You will work in close collaboration with the Health team (consisting of Technical service managers, product managers and a business manager); focusing on solutions to improve animal health. Our goal: 'Be the ideal partner for animal health management, as we provide scientifically proven solutions addressing immunity, intestinal integrity and microbiome management. Disease prevention is our core business.'


You will be the owner and driver for the marketing strategy for your product groups, including:

• Development of a strategic marketing plan in alignment with the management team for your product groups. You will need to plan the product life cycle, plan marketing activities, but also, analyze the competitive field as well as new market trends/opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into new products/programs (in cooperation with sales and technical service teams).
• Develop and implement the marketing strategy in co-ordination with the commercial team;
• Responsible for day-to-day Product Management activities interacting with all departments (purchase, operations, sales, r&d, logistics,) to drive the sales of your Product group and
guarantee customer satisfaction;
up on research projects (driven by R&D) related to your products and drive the launch of new products;
• Work in collaboration with the marketing and communication manager on the promotional activities for your portfolio;
• Participate in and attend local exhibitions, seminars, training and workshops;
• Support the regulatory team regarding your Product Groups: collect all technical information and trial results available, assists in setting up and follow-up of new trials, if necessary. Responsible for tracking registration dossiers of your Product Groups;
• Provide support to Kemin Sales Force for your Product Groups in cooperation with technical service teams;
• Provide direct support to Kemin customers and field projects lead by the Kemin Sales Force in cooperation with technical service teams;
• Convert new (field or R&D) data into commercial material (technical literature, presentations, magazine articles, website content, brochures, video's etc.) intended for customers, distributors, symposia, webinars, workshops, etc.


• University degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent experience with focus on animal health.
• More than 5 years of experience in a business environment – understanding the voice of the nutritionist and veterinarians;
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are needed;
• A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a sense of urgency;
• Must be fluent in English.

Working Conditions

This position is based at the Kemin facility located in Herentals and requires about 20% travelling in the EMENA region.
